Mead Cycle Company must have produced more ad copy than any other early-twentieth-century maker, because their propaganda shows up everywhere I look for old ads. So, I’ve acquired several Mead ads; but this is my best one, for sure. I just love the concept that your bicycle is all-important year-round, and the tie-in with monthly holidays, getting the pumpkin, lugging home the Christmas tree, watching the Independence Day parade, etc. Check out that giant catalog, too.
