In the seventies Austro-Daimler released one of the nicest 10-speed bicycle catalogs ever. It had lovely large color photos and tissue paper between the pages. There were only five bikes in it. Here are the three that we all spent countless hours looking at and dreaming about owning. The catalog promised that their top-line bicycle, the Ultima “would leave the factory in a specially prepared foam-filled case.” Sadly, the only one of these A-Ds I’ve ever ridden is the Vent Noir (nice!).
